"The Wave"
- Ebb and flow,
- fluctuate,
- crawl the shore,
- stretch, reach, and fade.
- Fall back to the sea.
- The wave that arrives at its
- destined shore,
- will that wave travel
- no more?
- thoughts born, strive to fly,
- never reaching that distant sky.
- Body intact, determined mind,
- arms reaching, trying to find,
- something to grasp,
- as the "I" begins to fade.
-
- The wave rolls,
- searching the surface of the sea,
- asking "what separates all from me?"
- Conflict, clashing
- with a foreign tide,
- ignorant to the oneness of the sea,
- upon which it rides.
-
- The wave never obtained peace,
- until it experienced the
- wholeness of the sea.
- Only in this state of being
- can it truly be free.
