Exhibit 2:
Nothing is Permanent
(with students from
the Korean Institute of Minnesota)
Students at KIM are unique. Most of them are adoptees from
Korea with American parents. The Institute was formed by
American parents, who pooled their resources
together to teach their children more about Korean culture.
The parent's and children's outer images
may differ, but their
mind is that of One Mind.
To show them that outer image is always transient and to teach them, not to identify themselves with the outer shell only but put more importance on the inner, which is behind all outer change.
Children were asked to draw three pictures.
1) an image of themselves when they were a baby
2) an image of themselves now
3) what they want to be when they grow up
