Founded in 1982, the Vietnamese Buddhist Temple serves the Vietnamese community of Chicago and the surrounding area. However, all are welcome to any of the activities. Monks reside at the facility, and meditation is conducted in the Mahayana tradition.

Activities: Repenting service, Sunday 6:30-8:45 a.m.; General service, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Retreats and individual instruction also available. Chinese and English services can also be provided, if required.

Several Tibetan groups also use the facilities of the Quang Minh Temple for various activities, and when their Lamas deliver teachings in English.
