Padmasambhava Buddhist Center was established under the guidance of Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche. The Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism stresses practice and study of the Vajrayana Buddhist teachings as transmitted by Padmasambhava, Buddha Sakyamuni and connected masters down to the present time.
Meditation practice and teaching is held every Tuesday at the center. The lamas come and give teachings, empowerments and personal guidance to practitioners regularly. There are other centers in New York, Maine, Florida, Delaware, Puerto Rico, California, New Mexico, and Moscow which also have regular meditation practice times, individual guidance and teachings in the Nyingma lineage.
There is a monastic college being built in upper-state New York and two monasteries in Sarnath and Shrivasti, India.
