The Kubose Dharma Legacy is dedicated to perpetuating and developing the lifework of Rev. Gyomay M. Kubose, a pioneer in promoting the Americanization of Buddhism. Rev. Kubose's non-dualistic, non-sectarian Way of Oneness draws from the original teachings of Gautama Buddha, Jodo Shinshu, and Zen Buddhism. This eclectic approach puts the emphasis on individual spiritual growth rather than on any particular sectarian dogma or practice.

The Kubose Dharma Legacy is an educational resource organization focusing on the practical application of the Dharma teachings in everyday life. The following services are currently available: (1) Oneness, a quarterly newsletter which features articles written by Revs. Gyomay and Koyo Kubose and provides information on Legacy events; (2) Dial-the-Dharma (847) 677-8053, a 24-hour telephone service providing daily taped talks by Revs. Gyomay and Koyo Kubose; (3) Books by Rev. Gyomay Kubose, such as Everyday Suchness, American Buddhism and The Center Within. (4) Seminars and workshops on topics ranging from daily Dharma practice to books and current issues; and (5) www.brightdawn.org is our website that brings a new level of interactivity to the Legacy and helps propagate the Way of Oneness across the world.
