The International Zen Dojo Sogenkai follows the Rinzai Zen tradition, and holds introductory six-week Sunday sesshins at 11 A.M. Regular Zen practice is held from 8:15 to 11 a.m. Sundays. Saturday practice consists of a half- hour zazen and two hours of hojo (martial arts) from 9:30 a.m. to noon. There are sesshin retreats twice a year and classes are also held on various aspects of Japanese culture.
