Han-Ma-Um Seon Center was first founded in Korea in 1972 by Seon Master
Dae Haeng Kun Sunim in affiliation with the Chogye Order of Korean Buddhism.
She has established thirteen branch temples in South Korea, four in the US, one
in Canada, one in Germany, and two in Argentina. Kun Sunim's purpose is to
make Seon (Zen) readily available to all practitioners rather than an elite few by everyday
practice of Seon (Zen).
