This is the first Cambodian temple in Chicago, and follows the Khmer (Cambodian) Theravada tradition. All services are conducted in Khmer. Regular Sunday services are held from 9 A.M. to noon, and religious holidays are observed according to the lunar calendar. Attha Sila (Eight Precepts)are observed every month, and Visakha (birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha) is observed on the l5th day (full moon) of the fourth lunar month.
