b) Buddhas & Bodhisattvas

Most of the other statues which one sees in the temples are either Buddhas, enlightened beings, or Bodhisattvas who are beings who have given themselves to helping others. Most of the Bodhisattvas represent one particular aspect of either wisdom or compassion while the Buddhas are the embodiment of perfect wisdom and perfect compassion.
